Laughing Buddha of Japan

There was a laughing Buddha in Japan. His name was Hotei. His whole message was just to laugh. He used to roam from one palce to another and from one market to another. He used to stand at the middle of the market and used to laugh - this was his speech or discourse.

His laugh was very hypnotic. It was a real laugh which used to touch and vibrate whole stomach. He used to lay down on the ground while laughing. People gathered around also used to start to laugh. Then laugh used to spread and there used to be waves of storm of laughter. Whole village used to be filled with laughter.

People used to watch his way, that when Hotei would arrive their village, because he used to come with extra ordinary joy and pray. He never spoke even a word. Whenever someone asked him about enlightenment, then he used to laugh. When someone asked him about the truth, then he used to laugh. To laugh was only his one message.
