Breathing Meditation

Following are some breathing meditation techniques from Bigyan Bhairav Tantra based on Osho’s Discourses:

Process I
Just after your breath enters and just before your breath exit, Be conscious between these two points.

When your breath comes inside, observe it. And moment when your breath is just about outside, one part of thousands of this moment, the breath stops. And when your breath go outside and there is also the moment when breath stops. And again breath comes inside.

When you are able to become conscious at this moment, or when you are able to observe this moment properly, then you will be able to know the truth.

In Buddhism, this process is known as ‘ANAPANSATI YOGA’. Buddha says be conscious about your breathing. When your breath enters, you also enter inside with your breath, and when your breath exits, you also come outside with your breath.

One can practice this meditation for one hour each day. Once you will be familiar with this process, then there will be no any problem.

Process II
When breath moves upwards from down and when it moves downwards from up, one can be enlightened through these two turning points.

When your breath turns, you are not attached with breath. At this moment you will be able to know who you are and what is to be. You will be able to know who is inside this body and who is the master of the body.

Process III
When your inhaling breath and exhaling breath vanishes with each other, touch the energy less and energy full centre at this moment.

When breath turns outside after entering inside, then there is a moment of vanishing. Breath neither enters nor exits. Breath is motionless. You are nearer to the centre. This vanishing point of inhaled and exhaled breath is your centre.

Just watch when your breath enters inside, then observe where does it go. And when your breath exits, observe where does it comes out from. It goes to centre and comes out from centre. Just touch this centre.
